The SCCGHS Research Assistance Program is specifically geared toward researching St . Clair County Families by one of our seasoned Genealogical Researchers . As everyone’s needs are different, we offer a graduated research schedule, noted above . *Please include any research information you have, along with the appropriate check made to : SCCGHS
ONE LOOKUP SEARCH: $8
Request for One Lookup, such as : 1 obituary ; 1 Vital Record ; 1 Census Record ; 1 Source (i . e . – WWl Draft Registration, City Directory, etc .), when the book, page #, date or census page is known . NOTE : Include an additional $30 , if a certified copy of marriage record or death record is requested to cover the County Court Office charge.
SIMPLE SEARCH: $15
Request for a Simple Search, such as : Obituary w/o location ; Vital Record w/o book & page #, etc . Or a search for every listing for 1 surname (Excl – common surnames) in 1 source (i . e . – All McMorran listings in the cemetery records, marriage records, etc .
DETAILED SEARCH: $40
Request for Detailed Search, such as : Search any available source which is appropriate for 1 individual/family, with a report & copies of any findings . This might include biographical books, census records, vital records, cemetery records, plat maps, newspapers, etc . which fit the request
